This two hour workshop will give you an orientation to complementary and alternative therapies available. You will learn the differences between complementary and alternative medicine, describe common complementary and alternative therapies used by cancer patients and show you where to access reliable information to empower you make informed decisions about your health. Informative handouts will be given out and a 20 minute guided imagery session for relaxation and boosting your immune system will be included.

This class covers 7 foods and herbs taken by Fertility Goddesses to

foods and herbs have been used since time immemorial as aphrodisiacs and
fertility enhancement substances.

Managing Menopause with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) (AHG 044:

Every woman experiences menopause differently and the signs and symptoms
may vary widely. Take charge of your own well-being by using a
time-tested and natural medicine to manage your specific symptoms
effectively. You will learn about the different types of TCM symptom
patterns and imbalances (such as Liver Qi Stagnation and Kidney Yin
deficiency) and how to use individualized herbal formulas and
acupressure points for each pattern in order to help achieve balance.
Informative hand-outs will be provided and a questionnaire will help you
determine which imbalance best represents your particular symptoms.
