Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin
$45.00
Vitamin
B12, also known as cobalamin, is one of the essential nutrients that our
body’s need daily and proper intake is vital to our ability to maintain
good health/em>.
Vitamin B12 is required by the body to maintain healthy
nerve cells and red blood cells, and is also needed to make DNA, the
genetic material in all cells. B12 is one of eight water soluble B
vitamins all of which help the body convert carbohydrates into glucose
(sugar) which is a primary energy source for the body. Vitamin B12 also
works closely with vitamin B9 (folic acid) to regulate the formation of
red blood cells and to help iron function better in the body.
How Does Vitamin B12 Work?
The last of the B-vitamins to be discovered, vitamin B12 was very
quickly launched into the world of essential
nutrition in the late
1940’s when it was discovered to cure condition known as pernicious
anemia – a potentially deadly disease that is prevalent mostly in the
elderly.

I just
received an email from someone who has concerns about the sulfa allergy
possibility. In my clinic, I have been using the B12/Lipotropic
injections for almost two years and have not yet had one incidence of
this (over one hundred patients). This allergy is rare. One question I
always ask my patients is if they have ever had wine from California or
made in the US. Unless the wine is organic and specifically says on the
label "No Sulfites" it will have sulfa in it as this is an ingredient
commonly used to sterilize the wine. If you have had wine made in the
United States and have not had a reaction (the least severe reaction is
an intense headache, the most severe is anaphylactic shock), then you
are most likely NOT sulfa allergic. I did have one patient that reported
a headache every time she drank U.S. wine and could only drink French
and organic wines. She was highly suspect of a sulfa sensitivity and I
did not give her the B12 MIC injections.
Whether you order the product from me or elsewhere,
please ensure that
you do not have this sensitivity. The best test is to drink some
California wine that contains sulfites.(it is on the label). If you have
never had this wine before, make sure you drink very little (one ounce)
and then observe how you feel for the next four hours. If you get a headache
or break out in hives you are probably allergic to sulfites and should
NOT use the B12 MIC injections.
Some further info.....
Why Add Sulfites to Wine?
Winemakers have been adding additional sulfites to wines for millenia.
The Greeks and Romans used sulfur candles to sterilize their wine
barrels and amphorae. Sulfur protects damage to the wine by oxygen, and
again helps prevent organisms from growing in the wine. This allows the
wine to "last longer" too, which lets it age and develop all of those
complex flavors we all love and enjoy so much. If you didn't add
sulfites, the wine would turn into vinegar in a matter of months.
What's the Problem with Sulfites?
Sulfite allergies are a problem for some wine drinkers, just like some
people are very allergic to peanuts. Humans can be allergic to just
about anything. For people who have a sulfite sensitivity, the sulfites
can lead to serious headaches. White wines have more sulfites than red
wines, so this can be a way to determine if sulfites might be the
problem. Sulfites, used improperly, can also give a rotten-egg smell to
a wine. There is no consensus on any other problems caused by sulfites
M.I.C. W/SUPER B/L-CARNITINE NEW!
$195.00
The M.I.C. Super B/L-Carnitine.shot contains M.I.C, vitamin B complex, and L-carnitine. The vitamin B complex in this shot includes B12, B6, B5, and Folate. These vitamins are all essential nutrients and have numerous health improving effects. The B complex vitamins are used by the body for basic metabolism, energy production, cardiovascular health, nervous system health, and many others.
L-carnitine is an amino acid that shuttles fat molecules into the mitochondria of cells. Mitochondria are the energy producing parts of cells and by increasing the available L-carnitine to the body, the mitochondria can better manage the conversion of fat into energy.
WHAT IS L-CARNITINE? Why is it so important in weight loss?
L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid which plays a vital role in the metabolism of fat. It functions as a transporter or "delivery vehicle" sorta speak of fats and fatty acids into the mitochondria, which is also known as the metabolic furnace or heat center of a cell.
L-carnitine was discovered in Russia, and then nearly a year later in Germany. The proper name, Carnitine, refers to the Latin origin,(carno, caris). Its structural formula was looked at in detail in 1927, and its role within the human body was understood by the 1960's. L-carnitine is synthesized in the liver and kidneys, from two essential amino acids, lysine and methionine. This synthesis requires the presence of vitamins niacin, B6, and iron. Most of the carnitine supply resides in the human body's internal muscle tissue. Approximately 80% of the amino acids our bodies need is endogenously synthesized, the remaining 20% are referred to as the essential amino acids.
The supply of such aminos, like l-carnitine, must be supplemented exogenously. L-carnitine is available in the following food sources: red meat, diary products, avocado, and tempeh. Although a well balanced diet can provide approximately 75% of what the body is lacking, often conditions arise that make it difficult to obtain all the carnitine one needs.
It has been established that an adequate supply of l-carnitine is necessary for the maintenance of a good healthy body. L-carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane to be metabolized or burned. L-carnitine aids in the release of stored body fat, tryglycerides, into the bloodstream for energy. Tryglycerides are the major source for the production of energy in the heart and the muscles of the skeletal system, just to name a few.
Access to l-carnitine is believed to increase energy levels for
long-term and short-term aerobic activity. L-carnitine is also
responsible for muscle contraction and coordination, regulation of
protein balance and maintenance of a healthy heart. Research also
suggests that an adequate supply of l-carnitine could be instrumental in
the treatment of diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome - CFS, kidney and
liver disease....and many other common health ailments.
Since its involvement in the process of burning fats is of most
importance to those interested in endurance and body fitness, it is this
topic that will be focused upon.
So, tell me how L-C works?
Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of tryglycerides as fuel, and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier exertion. During exercise, the body will burn fat at a rate of 75-80% of maximum exertion, thus less glycogen from carbohydrates is burned. L-carnitine allows the body to burn more fat, save more glycogen, and ultimately boost stamina and endurance. By providing more fat to the muscles, carnitine makes accessible an otherwise unavailable energy source.
FAT
+ OXYGEN + L-CARNITINE = ENERGY
Is this the recipe for success? According to proponents of L-C, it is the essential
amino acid in the optimum
fat burning process. They believe that carnitine is to the human body,
what a turbo mechanism is to a car: both provide optimal fuel and
performance. Minus L-C, fatty acids would have a difficult time
permeating the walls of the mitochondria. Energy, stored in
carbohydrates and fats, is required to work the muscles. Carbohydrates
are converted from glucose to glycogen, to be stored within the liver
and inside the cells of our muscles.
Eventually, the body turns to fat storage for energy, and possibly, with more ease in the presence of L-C. This is where L-C as an external supplement enters. During high energy output, the supply of L-carnitine becomes depleted.

Lipotonix injections are a safe and effective addition to a physician supervised weight loss program. Lipotonix contains a combination of B-Complex and essential and non-essential amino acids, some of which are not produced by the body or not easily obtained from current food sources.
Lipotonix injections can be given once or twice weekly to enhance weight loss in patients already actively engaging in a proper weight management program.
PRIMARY INGREDIENTS
Methionine (the "M" in MIC): it assists in the breakdown of fats and thereby prevents the build-up of fat in the arteries, as well as assisting with the digestive system and removing heavy metals from the body since it can be converted to cytosine, which is a precursor to gluthione, which is of prime importance in detoxifying the liver.
Inositol (the "I" in MIC): helps to maintain proper electrical energy and nutrient transfer across the cell membrane. It also acts as a lipotropic which converts fats into other useful products. Inositol helps establish healthy cell membranes, which facilitate nerve impulses.
Choline (the "C" in MIC): Assists in controlling your weight as well as cholesterol levels, keeping cell membranes healthy and in preventing gallstones. It is also most useful in the maintenance of the nervous system, assisting memory and learning.
B-VITAMIN COMPONENTS
B1 (Thiamine) serves as a catalyst in carbohydrate metabolism.
B2 helps to metabolize fats, carbohydrates, and respiratory proteins.
B3 helps release energy from nutrients. It can reduce cholesterol and prevent and treat heart disease.
B5 (Pantothenic Acid) is involved in numerous biological reactions, including the production of energy and the breakdown of fatty and amino acids.
B6 (Pyroxidine) is a vital part of the enzyme system and very important to the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It is also important in the normal function of the nervous and immune systems. The essential amino acid tryptophan also depends on Pyroxidine for its utilization.
B-12 is a vitamin which is important for the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and for the formation of blood. It is normally involved in the metabolism of every cell of the body, especially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation, but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production.
L-Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of triglycerides as fuel, and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier exertion.
Procaine – an agent similar to the local anesthetic lidocaine to prevent discomfort.
Because Lipotonix is comprised of naturally occurring ingredients, side effects are uncommon. Patients should complete the online Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire prior to being a candidate for Lipotonix injections. Patients who have an allergy to sulfa or topical anesthetic agents, such as novocaine or lidocaine, should not be treated with Lipotonix.
Because each person's physiology is unique, results with Lipotonix injections may vary.
work with your body to metabolize fat. They
promote the flow of fat to and from the liver.
M.I.C also nourish the liver, resulting in a
liver that is better equipped with the necessary
nutrients to function properly and eliminate
fats. There are many other processes in the body
that use these lipotropic factors, such as
energy production, cardiovascular health, and
nerve health.
