The M.I.C. Shots are ideal for those who are trying to lose weight. These shots work best in conjunction with a diet and/or exercise program. For example, if you are currently on a healthy weight loss program, then a weekly M.I.C. injection will further support your body’s ability to metabolize fat and give you an extra boost of energy
.

Even if you are not on a specific diet, but work out in the gym to lose weight and stay fit, the components of the M.I.C. shots can enhance your work out and help increase your fat loss.

It is the specific nutrients in the M.I.C. shots that make them so effective in conjunction with diet and exercise. The specific nutrients are collectively known as lipotropic factors, simply meaning they help your body utilize fat for energy.

All M.I.C. injections contain M.I.C – Methionine, Inositol, and Choline. These lipotropic factorsalt text work with your body to metabolize fat. They promote the flow of fat to and from the liver. M.I.C also nourish the liver, resulting in a liver that is better equipped with the necessary nutrients to function properly and eliminate fats. There are many other processes in the body that use these lipotropic factors, such as energy production, cardiovascular health, and nerve health.

Lipoden (ours has added B6)
This is our Metabolic Injection. It is formulated to boost metabolism and increase cellular energy (ATP). It is an all natural substance that is an intermediate in cellular metabolism. It is also a key component in certain reactions necessary for proper fat and carbohydrate metabolism. Research has indicated that low levels of ATP may predispose people to be overweight. Bariatric physicians have used this injection for many years with good success

Lipoden Injections: This injection cocktail is the same as the B12/B6 with Lipotropics, with an extra additive: Myoden.  Lipoden works faster than the B12 with Lipotropics because the Myoden forces the fat cells to heat up and burn calories. These injections are recommended for patients wanting to lose weight quickly and those who are obese. These injections are also promising for those stuck in a plateau or beginning to show signs of gaining weight.

Myoden is comprised of Adenosine which is a naturally occurring substance in the body that increases energy and has a positive effect on weight loss, stamina and overall mood. It is great for chronic fatigue, weight loss plateau, thyroid disorder, and very slow metabolism.

All the health and weight loss promoting B Vitamins plus Lipotropics in this HOT new formula TO HELP YOU FEEL GREAT WHILE LOSING THE WEIGHT!

Thiamine HCI (Vitamin B1)kground-color: #DFB8DF" class="style51"> Riboflavin-5-phosphate (Vitamin B2) - In addition to producing energy for the body, riboflavin also works as an antioxidant by scavenging damaging particles in the body known as free radicals. These particles occur naturally in the body but can damage cell membranes, interact with genetic material, and possibly contribute to the aging process as well as the development of a number of health conditions such as heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants such as riboflavin can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause

Niacinamide  (Vitmain B3) - Niacinamide was first linked to preventing the development of diabetes in experimental animals in the 1950s, a finding confirmed in the 1980s which led to further clinical studies. Niacinamide enhances insulin secretion and increases insulin sensitivity. Evidence points to niacinamide supplements being very effective in preventing type I diabetes from progressing in some patients if given soon enough at the onset of diabetes. It does so primarily by helping restore beta cells.

Calcium D-Pantothenate (Vitmain B5) - Pantothenic acid is also known as vitamin B5. It is a component of coenzyme A (CoA), an essential coenzyme in a variety of reactions that sustain life. CoA is required for chemical reactions that generate energy from food (fat, carbohydrates, and proteins). The synthesis of essential fats, cholesterol, and steroid hormones requires CoA, as does the synthesis of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, and the hormone, melatonin. Heme, a component of hemoglobin, requires a CoA-containing compound for its synthesis. Metabolism of a number of drugs and toxins by the liver requires CoA

Pyridoxine HCI (Vitamin B6) - Vitamin B6, also called pyridoxine, is one of eight water-soluble B vitamins. The B vitamins help the body to convert carbohydrates into glucose (sugar), which is "burned" to produce energy. These vitamins, often referred to as the B complex, are also essential in the metabolism of fats and protein. B complex vitamins also play an important role in maintaining muscle tone in the gastrointestinal tract and promoting the health of the nervous system, skin, hair, eyes, mouth, and liver

Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is one of the essential nutrients that our body’s need daily and proper intake is vital to our ability to maintain good health. Vitamin B12 is required by the body to maintain healthy nerve cells and red blood cells, and is also needed to make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. B12 is one of eight water soluble B vitamins all of which help the body convert carbohydrates into glucose (sugar) which is a primary energy source for the body. Vitamin B12 also works closely with vitamin B9 (folic acid) to regulate the formation of red blood cells and to help iron function better in the body.

M.I.C. (Lipotropics = Methionine, Inositol, Choline)

Lipotropics are a group of three amino acids that are essential for the health of your liver. Your liver removes toxins and metabolizes fat so that it can be removed from the body.  B12 also contributes to energy and stamina to help you burn the fat faster and efficiently. This formula is ideal if you are already taking a B12 or B6 supplement and do not wish to have "overload".  (This is the same combination as in the B12 and B12/B6 formulas without the B12 or B6)
Methionine is both an antioxidant and lipotrope, meaning it helps remove fat from the liver. Methionine contributes to the hydrophobicity of a protein. Methionine controls the level of beneficial sulfur-containing compounds in the body. These sulfur-containing compounds are in turn vital for defending against toxic compounds like heavy metals in the liver. Methionine helps reduce histamine levels, which are amino acids that control dilation of blood vessels and influence brain function.
Inositol, a nutrient belonging to the B vitamin complex, is closely associated with choline. As an exporter of fats from the liver, inositol helps redistribute the fat throughout the body to be used more efficiently as energy, which may even help detoxify the liver. But there is more to this nutrient: inositol is also necessary for proper brain, nervous, and muscle functioning, helping to form and hold structure to our cell membranes.
Choline is a lipotropic fat burner that functions in the body as an agent that aids in the mobility of fats through the bloodstream. As choline acts as a active fat burner it has shown that it also lowers blood cholesterol. Choline also prevents fat from accumulating in the liver, facilitates the movement of fat in the cells and is also important for proper nerve transmission that improves memory by boosting another neurotransmitter, acetylcholine. Lipotropic agents like Choline are important as they transport fat to be burned in the muscle. For example, if you were on a treadmill enganging in aerobic exercise your body would be burning glucose, but when the glucose runs low it switches over to burning fat, providing all the lipotropic nutrients are there to make it happen.Methione is one of the sulfur-containing amino acids (cysteine & cystine are others) and is important for many bodily functions. It acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat buildup in the liver and the body, is helpful in relieving or preventing fatigue and may be useful in some cases of allergy because it reduces histamine release. Patients with a Sulphur allergy should not take this injection.  See this information

B6 (Pyridoxine) + B12 (Methylcobalamin) with Lipotropics

M.I.C. Plus B6/B12 shot contains M.I.C, Vitamin B6 and B12. These two B vitamins are essential in numerous metabolic reactions in the body.

In relation to fat metabolism and weight loss, B6 and B12 are very important in driving the chemical reactions that mobilize fat and release energy from fat stored within the body. Many people are low in the B vitamins anyway, and at the very least notice an improvement in energy after increasing their B vitamin levels. As with the lipotropic factors, B vitamins are necessary for improved cardiovascular health, nerve health, and even improving mood.
B6 (pyridoxine) is on of the enzymes used in the metabolism of protein or amino acids, fats and carbohydrates.  It is important in the metabolism of neurotransmitters which affect mood.  Also B6 is important in metabolizing hormones.  Clients have reported that with the added B6 their stamina and energy are boosted so that exercising becomes fun and effortless.
Lipotropics are a group of three amino acids that are essential for the health of your liver. Your liver removes toxins and metabolizes fat so that it can be removed from the body.  B12 also contributes to energy and stamina to help you burn the fat faster and efficiently.
The vitamin cocktail included in the B12 (Cobalamin)  and Lipotropic shots are compounds that enhance liver function and increase the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder. By definition, a lipotropic substance decreases the deposit, or speeds up the removal of fat (lipo = fat, tropic = stimulate) within the liver. The key amino acids used to make these shots are: Vitamin B12, Choline, Methione, and Inositol.
Vitamin B12 is essential for helping to form new, healthy cells in the body. It also boosts energy, helping to increase activity levels.

B complex vitamins also play an important role in maintaining muscle tone in the gastrointestinal tract and promoting the health of the nervous system, skin, hair, eyes, mouth, and liver

Thiamine HCI (Vitamin B1) - Thiamine is vitamin B1. Vitamins are naturally occurring substances necessary for many processes in the body. Thiamine is important in the breakdown of carbohydrates (sugars) in the foods we eat into products needed by the body.

Riboflavin-5-phosphate (Vitamin B2) - In addition to producing energy for the body, riboflavin also works as an antioxidant by scavenging damaging particles in the body known as free radicals.

Vitamin A  - Vitamin A, also called retinol, helps your eyes adjust to light changes when you come in from outside and also helps keep your eyes, skin and mucous membranes moist. Vitamin A mostly comes from animal foods, but some plant-based foods supply beta-carotene, which your body then converts into Vitamin A. It also has antioxidant properties that neutralize free radicals in the body that cause tissue and cellular damage.

Vitamin D3  - 500IU in every ml.  Vitamin D has long provided significant support for healthy bone density.74-82 However, scientists have validated the critical role that vitamin D plays in regulating healthy cell division and differentiation, and has profound effects on human immunity.83* These findings link a deficiency of vitamin D to a host of common age-related problems. As a result of this research and startling evidence of a widespread vitamin D deficiency

Vitmain E  - Vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin, protects vitamin A and essential fatty acids from oxidation in the body cells and prevents breakdown of body tissues.

Information on Sulpha Allergies

I just received an email from someone who has concerns about the sulfa allergy possibility. In my clinic, I have been using the B12/Lipotropic injections for almost two years and have not yet had one incidence of this (over one hundred patients). This allergy is rare. One question I always ask my patients is if they have ever had wine from California or made in the US. Unless the wine is organic and specifically says on the label "No Sulfites" it will have sulfa in it as this is an ingredient commonly used to sterilize the wine. If you have had wine made in the United States and have not had a reaction (the least severe reaction is an intense headache, the most severe is anaphylactic shock), then you are most likely NOT sulfa allergic. I did have one patient that reported a headache every time she drank U.S. wine and could only drink French and organic wines. She was highly suspect of a sulfa sensitivity and I did not give her the B12 MIC injections.

Whether you order the product from me or elsewhere, please ensure that you do not have this sensitivity. The best test is to drink some California wine that contains sulfites.(it is on the label). If you have never had this wine before, make sure you drink very little (one ounce) and then observe how you feel for the next four hours. If you get a headache or break out in hives you are probably allergic to sulfites and should NOT use the B12 MIC injections.

Some further info.....

Why Add Sulfites to Wine?
Winemakers have been adding additional sulfites to wines for millenia. The Greeks and Romans used sulfur candles to sterilize their wine barrels and amphorae. Sulfur protects damage to the wine by oxygen, and again helps prevent organisms from growing in the wine. This allows the wine to "last longer" too, which lets it age and develop all of those complex flavors we all love and enjoy so much. If you didn't add sulfites, the wine would turn into vinegar in a matter of months.

What's the Problem with Sulfites?
Sulfite allergies are a problem for some wine drinkers, just like some people are very allergic to peanuts. Humans can be allergic to just about anything. For people who have a sulfite sensitivity, the sulfites can lead to serious headaches. White wines have more sulfites than red wines, so this can be a way to determine if sulfites might be the problem. Sulfites, used improperly, can also give a rotten-egg smell to a wine. There is no consensus on any other problems caused by sulfites

M.I.C. W/SUPER B/L-CARNITINE NEW!

$195.00

The M.I.C. Super B/L-Carnitine.shot contains M.I.C, vitamin B complex, and L-carnitine. The vitamin B complex in this shot includes B12, B6, B5, and Folate. These vitamins are all essential nutrients and have numerous health improving effects. The B complex vitamins are used by the body for basic metabolism, energy production, cardiovascular health, nervous system health, and many others.

L-carnitine is an amino acid that shuttles fat molecules into the mitochondria of cells. Mitochondria are the energy producing parts of cells and by increasing the available L-carnitine to the body, the mitochondria can better manage the conversion of fat into energy.

WHAT IS L-CARNITINE? Why is it so important in weight loss?

L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid which plays a vital role in the metabolism of fat. It functions as a transporter or "delivery vehicle" sorta speak of  fats and fatty acids into the mitochondria, which is also known as the metabolic furnace or heat center of  a cell.

L-carnitine was discovered in Russia, and then nearly a year later in Germany. The proper name, Carnitine, refers to the Latin origin,(carno, caris). Its structural formula was looked at in detail in 1927, and its role within the human body was understood by the 1960's. L-carnitine is synthesized in the liver and kidneys, from two essential amino acids, lysine and methionine. This synthesis requires the presence of vitamins niacin, B6, and iron. Most of the carnitine supply resides in the human body's internal muscle tissue. Approximately 80% of the amino acids our bodies need is endogenously synthesized, the remaining 20% are referred to as the essential amino acids.

The supply of such aminos, like l-carnitine, must be supplemented exogenously. L-carnitine is available in the following food sources: red meat, diary products, avocado, and tempeh. Although a well balanced diet can provide approximately 75% of what the body is lacking, often conditions arise that make it difficult to obtain all the carnitine one needs.

It has been established that an adequate supply of l-carnitine is necessary for the maintenance of a good healthy body. L-carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane to be metabolized or burned. L-carnitine aids in the release of stored body fat, tryglycerides, into the bloodstream for energy. Tryglycerides are the major source for the production of energy in the heart and the muscles of the skeletal system, just to name a few.

Access to l-carnitine is believed to increase energy levels for long-term and short-term aerobic activity. L-carnitine is also responsible for muscle contraction and coordination, regulation of protein balance and maintenance of a healthy heart. Research also suggests that an adequate supply of l-carnitine could be instrumental in the treatment of diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome - CFS, kidney and liver disease....and many other common health ailments.

Since its involvement in the process of burning fats is of most importance to those interested in endurance and body fitness, it is this topic that will be focused upon.

So, tell me how L-C works?

Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of tryglycerides as fuel, and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier exertion. During exercise, the body will burn fat at a rate of 75-80% of maximum exertion, thus less glycogen from carbohydrates is burned. L-carnitine allows the body to burn more fat, save more glycogen, and ultimately boost stamina and endurance. By providing more fat to the muscles, carnitine makes accessible an otherwise unavailable energy source.

 FAT + OXYGEN + L-CARNITINE = ENERGY

Is this the recipe for success? According to proponents of L-C, it is the essential amino acid in the optimum fat burning process. They believe that carnitine is to the human body, what a turbo mechanism is to a car: both provide optimal fuel and performance. Minus L-C, fatty acids would have a difficult time permeating the walls of the mitochondria. Energy, stored in carbohydrates and fats, is required to work the muscles. Carbohydrates are converted from glucose to glycogen, to be stored within the liver and inside the cells of our muscles.

Eventually, the body turns to fat storage for energy, and possibly, with more ease in the presence of L-C. This is where L-C as an external supplement enters. During high energy output, the supply of L-carnitine becomes depleted.

WHAT IS LIPOTONIX?

$85.00  $75.00 Introductory Sale

10ml Vial (good for 10 injections 1ml each)

Lipotonix injections are a safe and effective addition to a physician supervised weight loss program. Lipotonix contains a combination of B-Complex and essential and non-essential amino acids, some of which are not produced by the body or not easily obtained from current food sources.

Lipotonix injections can be given once or twice weekly to enhance weight loss in patients already actively engaging in a proper weight management program.

PRIMARY INGREDIENTS

Methionine (the "M" in MIC): it assists in the breakdown of fats and thereby prevents the build-up of fat in the arteries, as well as assisting with the digestive system and removing heavy metals from the body since it can be converted to cytosine, which is a precursor to gluthione, which is of prime importance in detoxifying the liver.

Inositol (the "I" in MIC): helps to maintain proper electrical energy and nutrient transfer across the cell membrane. It also acts as a lipotropic which converts fats into other useful products. Inositol helps establish healthy cell membranes, which facilitate nerve impulses.

Choline (the "C" in MIC): Assists in controlling your weight as well as cholesterol levels, keeping cell membranes healthy and in preventing gallstones. It is also most useful in the maintenance of the nervous system, assisting memory and learning.

B-VITAMIN COMPONENTS

B1 (Thiamine) serves as a catalyst in carbohydrate metabolism.

B2 helps to metabolize fats, carbohydrates, and respiratory proteins.

B3 helps release energy from nutrients. It can reduce cholesterol and prevent and treat heart disease.

B5 (Pantothenic Acid) is involved in numerous biological reactions, including the production of energy and the breakdown of fatty and amino acids.

B6 (Pyroxidine) is a vital part of the enzyme system and very important to the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It is also important in the normal function of the nervous and immune systems. The essential amino acid tryptophan also depends on Pyroxidine for its utilization.

B-12 is a vitamin which is important for the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and for the formation of blood. It is normally involved in the metabolism of every cell of the body, especially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation, but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production.

L-Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of triglycerides as fuel, and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier exertion.

Procaine – an agent similar to the local anesthetic lidocaine to prevent discomfort.

Because Lipotonix is comprised of naturally occurring ingredients, side effects are uncommon. Patients should complete the online Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire prior to being a candidate for Lipotonix injections. Patients who have an allergy to sulfa or topical anesthetic agents, such as novocaine or lidocaine, should not be treated with Lipotonix.

Because each person's physiology is unique, results with Lipotonix injections may vary.
